Making $10,000 immediately is not likely because of investment costs, but as I mentioned previously, it is possible.
But you have to understand that there is a learning curve, in everything, to be successful there has to be knowledge about it.
Many people who get started in affiliate marketing have zero marketing experience and skills.
If you want to make money with affiliate marketing, you will have to learn marketing skills because it’s skills that will actually make you money.
3. Focus On A Niche
One of the biggest mistakes that people make in affiliate marketing is trying to sell to everyone, if you are selling to everyone, you are selling to no one.
Trying to sell to everyone is like pouring water on a stone to get soft.
Everyone is not your target customer and everyone is not interested in whatever product you are selling.

2. Find Higher Paying Affiliate program and/or on that Provides Recurring Affiliate Commissions
Pick affiliate products that paid you a higher commission to get you to the $1,000 monthly goal.
Amazon and Clickbank offer affiliate programs, however, they pay small percentages in commission. If you don’t have a huge audience or aren’t promoting high-ticket items, it’s going to take a lot more to get to the monthly goal. BUT, if you join an affiliate program with a company that pays 50% commissions on higher ticket items, you could get to that goal much quicker and easier.
There are some really great companies and services out there that will not only pay you based on the sale you made but will pay you EVERY MONTH if the person you refer to the product or service continues to use their product or service.
For example, Getresponse is my FAVORITE email marketing system and it’s what I use to grow my business and it’s a service that users have to pay a monthly fee to use.
Instead of rewarding their affiliates only for the initial sale of sending someone to use their services, they pay their affiliates 30% of the monthly fee for EACH USER the affiliate sends each month.
Make Sure Your Affiliates are Relevant to Your Audience
Being an entrepreneur I’m probably not going to promote makeup or Shoes, Shirt, as an affiliate, to my audience, because I know my audiences are heavily entrepreneurial and aren’t looking to me for those types of recommendations, but, need a link for an email marketing system, training, tools, etc that will better their live and grow their business.
Make sure those relevant affiliates are products that you actually love or probably have use because your audience will be able to feel whether your recommendation is genuine or not.
3. Build Your Audience
Building an audience who feel they Know, Like and Trust you is very important as an affiliate marketer if you really want to make money online as an affiliate.
Why?
Your audience is the key to everything in your business to move forward and probably grow your business and make money, inside the audience you are building is where you’ll find your soon to be leads, prospect, sales and sign up and they are just waiting for you, you must constantly be building your audience every single day.
So what does an audience look like?
Here are some examples,
Facebook fan page likes and followers, Youtube subscribers, Twitter followers, Instagram followers, and your email list subscribers, etc.
Now “Important Note” here, I recommend picking one audience above to build and in addition to your email list of subscribers and focus ‘only’ on building that one audience.
When it comes to building your audience, you need to know where they hang out. This is where we choose a platform in which to create content on a daily basis.
The bigger your audience, the more eyeballs or clicks will land on your affiliate links and the more people will buy what you offer and the more commission you will make.
If you’re just starting out, going with affiliates programs that provide a bigger percentage and paid higher affiliate commission is great because your audience doesn’t have to be that big; but to make more from affiliate marketing, you should be growing that audience on a daily basis to make money.

4. Put your Affiliates link in front of Your Audience
If you don’t put your links in front of your audience, they’re not going to use them or buy what you offer, obviously! We’re humans, we forget. But if you forget to put your link in front of them, I can promise you that your audience has forgotten as well.
By not promoting your affiliate links, you are leaving money on the table and you’re only hurting your business and you are losing as well – give it to the people! Let them know what you offer.
5. Have an Easy way to Share Affiliate Links
If you’re someone who has multiple affiliate links that you promote, it can get a little confusing and overwhelming to try and keep up with ALL of them all the time. A Google Doc can be your best buddy with that; every single time you join a new affiliate program, just hover to Google Doc and plot it there, you can have access to it anywhere you go.
If you can create tiny links using bit.ly links – do it! because these links will allow you to better remember the links you have AND, more importantly, they’ll be easier for your audience to remember as well. Go and do this thing right now before you forget

If you are an affiliate for Amazon, you can open Amazon in your browser and use the browser link. On your phone or computer, you should grab your specific link to a specific product which makes it a lot easier to share with your audience.
If you have a lot of people following you on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook or YouTube, you can become an influencer of Amazon and add items to your store, this makes it very easy for your audience to find the product you offer.
Now you have seen and understand how the process works, though this may seem easy to you. Making $10,000/month with Affiliate Marketing is not that hard. All you need to do is to just break it down, follow those steps layout above and find what works best for you and your business.

If you are an Amazon affiliate, you can easily pull up Amazon in your browser (you have to use the browser, not the app) on your phone or computer and grab your specific link to a specific product which makes it AMAZINGLY easy to share. If you have an established following on Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, you can become an Amazon Influencer and add items to your “store” super easy for your audience to find.
Even though it may seem that way, making $1,000/month with Affiliate Marketing IS NOT HARD. You just have to break it down, follow these steps and find what works for you and your business. Regardless of what your affiliates are, being intentional with those affiliates and your audience will make this process a breeze – and you’ll have an extra $1,000/month passively in your bank account.
