Now, instead of jumping into choosing any product, you came across.
Take your time to select a product that you believe in and will add value to your customers’ lives.
And also do thorough research about the product to see if it’s in high demand in the marketplace.
Promoting a product that the market is in need of and that adds value to people’s lives is far better than promoting one for the sake of making money.
And now, as you have found that product of your choice, it’s time to figure out how to market it and be successful.

Since all affiliate marketing programs are free and easy to join and some are promising to pay you a high commission for selling their product.

And then puts in all your time, the effort by promoting that only product massively.
And as time goes on and you are making enough profits from that product, guess what, you can then join another program.

Mistake Number 6: Don’t Send Traffic Straight To An Affiliate Link.
Sending people to a direct link without first capturing your visitor’s email address is a huge mistake.
Unless you are trying to test how your ads copy or the product sale page convert.
But if you are not testing anything and you are sending people to raw links without building an email list, you are doing things wrong.
Moreover, you are leaving YOU out of the equation of increasing your income.
Sending visitors to your affiliate link directing will result in low conversion, leads, and sales.

Build a landing page between your offer before promoting it on your blog post, YouTube channel, or any platform you promote your product on.
And then, follow-up with them through an autoresponder while they are on your list.
To build trust and relationship with them, so you can do a repeated sale with them over gain over gain.

An autoresponder is simply a service that allows you to set up an email and it automatically sends it out emails to your prospect or a group of people who are on your list.
And this autoresponder is going to do two major or things.
First. It’s going to build TRUST and a relationship with your prospect who are on your list.
When it comes to buying a product or something online, people are very much skeptical and this is where building TRUST comes into place.
It said that people normally get to see an offer seven-times before making their mind to buy it.
So now, if you are just sending people to a direct link, most of them are not going to buy.
And this is the very reason you need to capture your visitor’s email address and build TRUST with them, so you can remarket the same product to them again.
So how do you build that TRUST…?
This can be done by constantly providing valuable content to your prospect or audience while they are on your list.
This could be in the form of written content, video training, downloadable PDF… etc.
But it has to be free and congruent to your niche and the type of audience you have.
Second. And this is where you are going to marketing your product to them, as you are constantly adding value to their lives in the long run.
They are will begin to Know, Like and Trust you and start to see you as an expert in the field of affiliate marketing.

Mistake Number 7: Don’t Buy The Product Through Your Own Link.
Most affiliates love to purchase the product they are promoting through their own link, this is a big mistake.
This sort of action is considered as fraud and can get you blocked totally from affiliate networks.

Though it a smart way to buy the product you are promoting, so you can know how it works and also be able to write an honest review about it.
But not before you become an affiliate for the same product.
So in simple, you need to buy the product and give your review about it before joining it as an affiliate.
Mistake Number 8: Constant Promotions.
Because a lot of people approach affiliate marketing as a quick way to make money and don’t focus on providing value to their audience upfront.
